Ugreenal Ivey, is the CEO of The Educational Bridgeway to Success. She established the organization after finding herself at a crossroad when attempting to educate her children. As they sought to locate information regarding the FAFSA and other scholarships available, they found themselves facing an unknown area without one person to assist them with every institution that was being considered.
Prior to establishing The Educational Bridgeway to Success, Ugreenal was employed at a Career Center where she became knowledgeable of the issues individuals faced as employment was being desired. Her promotion to Case Manager intrigued her curiosity to seek ways to assist the low-income individuals in her community. Ugreenal then realized she needed to be in a college setting to assist the students of our future before they became unemployed. This encouraged her to gain employment at a college where she has been serving the students as a Senior Office Assistant in the Financial Aid Department which is a department within the college's Student Support Services Department.
Ugreenal received a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Chipola College and a Master of Education in Higher Education - Educational Leadership (M.Ed.) from Liberty University. Her ability to mentor, encourage, and provide guidance through personal experiences, enhances her ability to initiate change in the lives of people that will lead them to success.
Shawnikia Terrell is the Office Administrator at The Educational Bridgeway to Success. She brings over 10 years of experience to the office.
Prior to joining The Educational Bridgeway to Success, Shawnikia served as a Review Analyst in the healthcare field. Her ability to pay close attention to details enables her to hear and see the missing links in student's lives. She assists the team with ensuring students receive what is needed through our services. Shawnikia understands the need of these services as well as the impact that they can make because she was once a higher education student.
Shawnikia received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida.
Ja'Quainna serves as an Academic Success Mentor at The Educational Bridgeway to Success. She brings experience as a student desiring a career that requires an extended pathway.
Ja'Quainna knew from her youth that being a nurse was her desired career. However, at that time, she had no knowledge of the financial aspects that she would face. It was when Ja'Quainna decided that she wanted to become a Nurse Practicor and selected Emory University as the school of attendance that she realized she was in need of financial literacy in regards to the debt that she may incur. Up to this point, she was able to attend college debt free. But the financial aspects were not the only thing she needed. Ja'Quainna needed someone that would also mentor her mentally, academically and socially because of the required dedication to her education.
Ja'Quainna received her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida, where she served the students on campus as an office assistant through the work study program. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Now that Ja'Quainna has accomplished a portion of her desired educational level, she wants to give to others the same services that she has received from The Educational Bridgeway to Success.
